Acting Operations Manager Greg Cox fosters a supportive work environment and inspires others to deliver excellence in everything they do.
Since joining the Brisbane Motorway Services team, Greg has had a major impact on his team’s morale. A straight talker by nature, he sets clear goals and provides regular and honest feedback on how they’re tracking.
His commitment to create a harmonised and productive team has led to a 100 percent staff retention rate. He has adopted a flexible rostering plan, and is passionate about recognising and rewarding high performing employees.
He is also a dedicated workplace trainer and assessor, and delivers regular monthly training to ensure the Brisbane Motorway Services employees are fully skilled with the latest qualifications. As a result, his team were the first tunnel operators in Australia to be awarded a Certificate IV Traffic Operations and were among the first in Australia to use Virtual Emergency Simulation training in a road tunnel environment.
Greg’s ongoing drive for continuous improvement has also seen the client satisfaction ratings rise from 80 to 100 percent, with more than 310 glowing public customer compliments.
