Quality System Specialist Joe Grimes joined Ventia as part of our Business Management System (BMS) implementation team. By continually striving to improve the user experience, Joe delivered a unique solution that’s made it easier for crews to access the latest safety procedures while on the road.
The BMS houses our standard safety and operational procedures and ensures we meet ongoing compliance and accreditation requirements.
After realising that field crews often carry printed copies of our safety and operational procedures from job to job, rather than accessing the latest documents directly online, Joe developed a digital solution to help crews access the latest safety procedures.
Gone is the need to keep and maintain large volumes of folders with printed files – Joe’s solution means that the workforce can now effectively access the latest safety documents directly from their mobile device.
The solution has provided a better experience for both Ventia crews and subcontractors, and turned around systemic compliance issues.
A dedicated professional, Joe was also part of the team who delivered the training program to ensure crew members were comfortable using the technology.
