Congratulations Alison Kingi-Potiki

In Invercargill on the South Island of New Zealand, Visionstream Field Manager Alison Kingi-Potiki stands out as an inspiring and motivating manager. She leads a team of 32 field technicians connecting customers to Ultra-Fast Broadband (UFB).

Alison has built and developed a great team of talented subcontractors who deliver the UFB Connect contract for our client, Chorus.

Our technicians work inside people’s homes, where every interaction reflects on both our brand and that of our client. Alison is keenly aware of this and proactively drives a strong customer service focus amongst her team.

She goes above and beyond to coach and mentor her technicians about the importance of integrity, respect and reliability. As a result, the crews are consistently ready for action, and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure the customer is happy.

Alison takes pride in her technicians, personally acknowledging and thanking them for their efforts. This approach has helped build trust and respect and is reflected by her teams’ quality of work and attitude.

“Alison generally shies away from recognition, putting the many compliments she receives down to the techs doing a great job – but she always leads by example, and they do a great job for customers because of her leadership,” says National Field Operations Manager Chris Langley.
