Over the years, our Wideband Services team has received exceptional client feedback on their strong service delivery performance. Two more recent examples highlight the team’s ability to inspire confidence and partner with our clients to deliver excellent outcomes for their customers and the wider community.

Visionstream’s Wideband Services team are responsible for the design and construction of services that provide voice and data to our clients’ customers across Australia. Each month, they action more than 800 work orders nationally, from pit installations through to obtaining council authorisations.

Recently our team delivered an outstanding experience for two very different customers of our client – Logan City Council in Queensland and the New South Wales Rural Fire Service.

First: After winning back various service contracts from a competitor, including 22 wideband services for the Logan City Council, our client needed to migrate all services as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Our team pulled out all the stops, working hard to successfully deliver on these urgent requirements in a short three-month timeframe, meeting our client’s business objectives and exceeding their expectations.

Second: The Wideband Services team was briefed in August that the NSW Rural Fire Service urgently needed telecommunications services installed in Glen Innes, in northern NSW. This was because of the upcoming fire season, which was approaching rapidly due to drought conditions across the country.

Again, the team kicked into gear to prioritise this urgent and complex work. Acknowledging this installation had broad reaching community impact, a technician was able to be diverted to the Glen Innes site, ensuring the request was actioned within 24 hours.

“The approach taken by our Wideband Services team to demonstrate flexibility and work closely with our client to understand their priorities and deliver complex services within tight timeframes is outstanding,” said General Manager Fixed Networks Simon Love.
