Congratulations Mamoon Saeed

Visionstream Field Manager Mamoon Saeed works with teams of field technicians on the Ultra-Fast Broadband (UFB) Connect contract in New Zealand. Whether in the field or the office, Mamoon constantly challenges the way we do things, looking for opportunities to be better and ways to improve quality and safety outcomes.

This year, Mamoon worked with Field Operations and our client, Chorus, to understand and address inconsistencies in service quality. He identified a potential communication gap with subcontractors and took the initiative to develop a training module on Faulty Network Claims for over 100 technicians in the Central Auckland region.

Interactive sessions were presented by Mamoon in three languages: English, Hindi and Punjabi. Subcontractors greatly appreciated the effort taken to partner with them to ensure their understanding.

Mamoon is always quick to put in the extra effort to get ideas off the ground. His approach to safety and high level of presentation skills inspires our other field managers and he has built great connections with the team’s subcontractor workforce.

Mamoon has helped foster a better client relationship by taking the lead, anticipating what technicians needed to solve the communications problem, and collaborating with Chorus to drive improvement. Best of all, his initiative has significantly reduced the number of declined claims.

Mamoon has also been a champion of the new Ventia Pulse platform in New Zealand and involved with usability testing, particularly around safety components.

“Mamoon’s feedback is incredibly helpful. His innovative thinking, patience and teamwork have been invaluable to the team and reaching our objectives,” said Pulse New Zealand Business Analyst Simon Abbott.
