Creating futures through mentoring

Throughout 2018 Visionstream team members will again mentor students from disadvantaged backgrounds as part of the Australian Business and Community Network (ABCN) Creating Futures program. The program has had a real impact for students and mentors alike.

Last year 93 percent of students involved in the program went on to complete Year 12 (compared with 61 percent of disadvantaged students nationally), and 97 percent of mentors felt that their coaching skills improved.

“The young women that I have the privilege of spending time with through the program are ambitious and hungry for knowledge. They have unlimited potential and my interactions are so rewarding,” says Marsha Moller, People & Capability Manager, Visionstream.
