Our people bring their can-do attitude and they get the job done. Done safely, done cost effectively and done together. They connect people to faster networks, remediate contaminated land, keep traffic flowing and our hospitals and schools running.
Last year’s Ventia Awards highlighted just how talented and engaged our people are.
We set up the awards in response to your feedback from the Have Your Say survey, which asked us to recognise good work and celebrate wins.
We listened and you responded by nominating more than 700 people for going above and beyond the norm, for living the Ventia values, for inspiring confidence in our clients, and for making a real difference in the communities where we work.
I was truly impressed by the response! I would like to congratulate everyone who was involved in the Ventia Awards – especially our inaugural winners. Their success is our success.
In this special edition of Connect, we highlight their achievements and showcase the great work our people do behind the scenes, to support our clients and their customers.
We also pay tribute to Bruce Cooper, one of our winners who sadly passed away in April 2018.
